Born in Hong Kong and grew up in Happy Valley, Mr. Fred Chan is a renowned interior designer in town. When he was a child, he walked pass European furniture shops at Wong Nai Chung Road  after school every day and was determined to be a designer in future. Fred studied at Rosaryhill School ,King's College, First Institute of Art & Design College and City University of Hong Kong, majoring in Architecture study,Environment and Interior Design.

       陳天麟先生(Mr.Fred Chan)香港著名室內設計師,生於香港,在跑馬地區成長,黃泥湧道的歐洲進口家私店是他每天放學回家必經之路,從小志願是做設計師,玫瑰崗,英皇書院,大一設計學院、香港城市大學,主修建築學、環境及室內設計。


From 1989 to 1993, Fred worked at LWK & Partners (HK) Ltd, a well-known architect firm in Hong Kong, on various interior design projects. Later, he served as the project manager at a few large-scale American and Japanese companies. From 1997 to 1999, he was a lecturer at Hong Kong School of Design to help nurture the next generation.

        1989-1993年陳天麟先生在香港著名建築事務所梁黃顧建築師樓(LWK&Partners(HK)Ltd.)開始室內設計工作,隨後在美資及日資等不同企業內擔任項目經理。1997-1999年更在香港設計學院出任講師。


 In 1999, Fred founded GPC Design, providing professional design services to various clients. His work has received recognition from clients due to his solid experience and unique design concepts as well as his sound advice on the design of the projects.

       1999年陳天麟先生在香港創立FSC Design。開始為高端客戶提供室內設計服務。用豐富經驗、精準市場定位及設計手法得到客戶認同。


In 2000, Fred set up branch FSC in Shenzhen and the company's business keeps growing. The first project that the company successfully launched is Laguna Verona, a residential project developed by Tycoon Li's corporation Hutchison Whampoa in Dongguan. In a few years, the company's has built foothold in more than 10 cities, including Hong Kong,  Macau and China. It's well applauded projects include show flats, sales offices, medical aesthetics clubhouse, restaurants, shopping malls and residential properties. The company has worked with many famous developers, to name a few, Hutchison Whampoa Property, New World Development, Concord Group Limited, Kowloon Development Company Ltd, Pengji group,Sino Group,Holy Lake Group , Shanghai Tian Yi , Seaport group ,Yamada Miyura,Crabtree & Evelyn,1000 Colors, Kang Mei pharmaceutical , Xiyue medical beauty ,Pengai Hospital Management Group, LERDO,SIEMENS. The success of these well acclaimed projects has helped the company to establish a long term working relations with customers.

       2000年他在深圳成立FSC全外資分公司,業務範圍不斷擴大。很榮幸在國內接手第一個項目是李嘉誠先生和黃集團在東莞市的“海逸豪園”。及後項目範圍遍布香港、深圳、上海、北京、杭州、南昌、沈陽、南京、三亞、宜昌、廣州、中山、澳門、珠海、東莞、惠州等十多個城市,成功作品多不勝數!包括樣板房、售樓展廳、醫學美容會所、餐飲、商場及私人豪宅等高質素作品,客戶包括香港和黃集團、新世界發展、協和集團、九龍建業、鵬基集團、佳兆業集團、信和實業、銀湖發展、澳門娛樂、廣州城建開發集團、上海天益、中山海港集團等,以及“Yamada Miyura(山田社)”“Crabtree & Evelyn”“千色店”“康美藥業”“禧悅醫美”“沁顏時尚醫美”“鵬愛醫療美容醫院” “LERDO”“SIEMENS”“Jardine Matheson”等知名品牌。項目均帶給客戶驚喜和贊賞,建立了密切及長期的合作關系。


With solid experience and perseverance, Fred has completed many outstanding projects through his unique design concepts. He has won numerous industry awards and has been interviewed by media in Hong Kong and China, showcasing his accomplishments in the interior design industry.

       憑著豐富經驗,創造不少出色的作品,具前瞻和影響力,贏得眾多業內設計獎項,亦曾接受香港及內地多間傳媒訪問,同時鑒定了陳天麟先生在室內設計行業上的成就。


With over 25 years of experience, Fred has successfully completed more than 1,000 projects in a diverse array of industries. Design begins with people's lives and lifestyles reflect the changing needs and the use of space in different cities. He believes design can enhance people's lives and contribute to the sustainable growth of businesses. His motto is never give up learning and share experiences with others. He is always thankful to every opportunity that he has and appreciates his colleagues' concerted effort over the years. He loves to ponder and keep learning when handling different projects and most importantly, to enjoy life at work.

      在超過25年的設計工作中,完成上千件項目,在不同範圍內也有他的作品。設計是從生活中開始,生活方式反映著不同地區發展需要,善用生活空間的思巧,他相信設計能夠提升人們的生活、幫助企業增值和持續性發展。成就事業也沉澱了良好的市場口碑。他感恩擁有的每個機會,感謝十多年來同事們的共同努力,能夠在不同的項目中思考及學習,不斷進步,在工作中享受生活。

      售樓處是新樓盤最重要的部分,代表整個樓盤的形象,扮演著先鋒的角色。當樓盤尚未建好,售樓處是建立客戶信心及溝通的橋樑,因此設計應該集中體現新樓盤的優勢及賣點,加上最能感動客戶的品味及概念設計售樓處時,同時要注意不同功能區域的佈局、整體規劃及配合銷售流程。

Living room is the foucs of a house.And it is spacious enough to held different activities.Designer determines the details according to customer's request and the environment.Furniture and decoration selected should match with the overall image and daily activities,Proper selection reflects the personalities and taste of the showflat.

Usually,dining area is located next to the living area.They must be viewed as one,The design reflects showflat taste and quality of living.Lightings,furniture,candles,flowers and accessories show the artistic style and add personalities to the room.

      客廳是示範單位主要的展示活動區,需要較多空間,也是設計的重心,設計師考慮佈局時會因展示的需要和生活元素,作不同層次的組合。合適的傢私和飾品與室內空間產生“化學作用”,體現示範單位的品味和個性。

      飯廳一般在客廳旁,設計師需要協調兩者的氣氛,使這兩個空間緊密地成為一個整體,需巧妙地安排燈飾、飾品和掛畫等。此外,優雅餐具、洋燭、鮮花、餐巾等,可增加藝術氣質。

      無論哪個行業,企業形象設計是重要的,大堂是展示企業形象的第一個重點,讓員工和客戶對公司的形象有深刻的印象,並認同企業文化。

Concept is very abstract for many people. But it is an essential element for interior designer. Creative design is developed from a concept. After careful consideration of the actual environment, functions and customer's needs, together with creativity, a design concept is visualized.

Colors come from the materials used but easily affected by lightings. Lightings are essential because different lightings create different atmosphere.

A good design comprises many elements, space planning functions, materials, lightings, colors, furniture, ventilation system and a reasonable budget.

       許多人覺得設計概念是抽象的,但對於室內設計師,概念是創作的元素,創意的設計首先從概念發展。設計師需要同時仔細考慮實際環境,客戶要求和功能體現,融合創意和整體完整性,使設計具體化。
       色彩是從材料反映出來,同時也會被光線影響,所以燈光是重要,適當的燈光營造不一樣的氣氛。成功的設計融合了多種元素,包括分區功能、材料、燈光、顏色、傢俬、空調和一個合理的工程預算。
